COMMON QUESTIONS
FAQ
Is ZEDFINITY free?
Yes. ZEDFINITY is free to download and use. It does not require a ZEDFINITY subscription or account.
Where are my files stored?
ZEDFINITY uses your own Telegram cloud as the storage layer. Your files remain subject to Telegram's availability and terms.
Does it work on Android and Windows?
Yes. ZEDFINITY provides separate Android and Windows experiences with the same gallery and file-management workflow.
What encryption does ZEDFINITY use?
ZEDFINITY's optional on-device Vault uses XChaCha20-Poly1305 authenticated encryption. XChaCha20-Poly1305 is an open-source AEAD construction documented by Libsodium; its open-source implementation is available in the Check from here: https://github.com/jedisct1/libsodium. Encryption is performed on-device, and this does not change Telegram's own storage or transport policies.
Is ZEDFINITY affiliated with Telegram?
No. ZEDFINITY is an independent, unofficial Telegram client and is not affiliated with Telegram FZ-LLC.
