ABOUT ZEDFINITY
Built on a simple
conviction.
Your files should belong to you — stored in your own cloud, encrypted on your own device, readable by no one but you. Everything else in ZEDFINITY follows from that.
Why ZEDFINITY exists
Most cloud services work the same way: you create an account, your files are stored on the company's servers, and you pay rent — in money or in data — for the space. ZEDFINITY started from a different question: what if the cloud you already have was enough?
Every Telegram account already comes with cloud storage that has no practical cap. ZEDFINITY is the app that turns that storage into a complete personal drive — a gallery, a file manager, an automatic backup system — while keeping the storage itself where it already belongs: in your own account, under your own control.
That decision shapes everything. There is no ZEDFINITY server, because none is needed. There is no ZEDFINITY account, because your Telegram account already is one. There is no tracking, because there is nothing to track you for. And when Vault encryption is on, not even the contents of your files are visible to anyone but you — they are encrypted on your device before upload, with keys that never leave it.
What the app is today
ZEDFINITY ships for Android and Windows. It offers unlimited storage, full-device auto-backup, streaming music with album art and synced lyrics, a video player, albums with automatic covers, favorites, trash with recovery, search, batch downloads, and a Security Center with app lock, biometrics and screenshot protection — all wrapped in a calm, dark-first design with a custom icon set.
It is honest about what it is: an unofficial Telegram client that is not affiliated with Telegram FZ-LLC. It does not replace the official apps — it builds a private cloud layer on top of your own account, subject to Telegram's availability and terms.
Who builds it
ZEDFINITY is designed, built and maintained by Shahtab Ahmed, an independent developer. One person writes the apps, designs the interface, answers support messages and publishes the releases. There is no investor roadmap and no engagement metrics to chase — the only direction that matters is what users actually need.
The project is funded entirely by donations. If ZEDFINITY is useful to you, supporting it keeps development independent.
Where it is going
Development is continuous and user-driven: recent releases focused on a smarter full-device auto-backup, one-tap library downloads, a richer media player, and reliability on older devices. Priorities being explored next include deeper platform integration and more ways to get your existing library in — shaped largely by what users write in and ask for.
