PRIVACY POLICY
What we collect:
almost nothing.
Last updated: 30 October 2026. This policy covers the ZEDFINITY apps (Android and Windows) and this website. The short version: ZEDFINITY has no accounts, no servers holding your data, and collects no personal information.
1. The short version
ZEDFINITY is designed so that there is almost nothing to collect. There is no ZEDFINITY account, no ZEDFINITY user database, and no ZEDFINITY server in the data path. Files are stored in your own Telegram cloud — storage attached to your own account — and with Vault encryption enabled they are unreadable to anyone without your device, including us.
2. What the app does not collect
- No name, email address, phone number, or payment details.
- No analytics, telemetry, crash-reporting or tracking SDKs inside the apps.
- No advertising identifiers and no advertising SDKs inside the apps.
- No content of your files is ever transmitted to or stored by ZEDFINITY — there is no ZEDFINITY server to transmit to.
3. What the app stores on your device
ZEDFINITY keeps a local database on your device containing your library index: file names, sizes, thumbnails, albums, and playback metadata (durations, dimensions). This data exists only on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data. Your Vault encryption keys are derived and kept on your device and never leave it.
4. Where your files live
Files you upload are stored in your own Telegram cloud — storage attached to your own Telegram account. That storage is provided by Telegram FZ-LLC under its own terms and privacy policy; ZEDFINITY is an unofficial client and cannot see, access, or manage what is stored in your account. With Vault encryption enabled, the stored content is encrypted on your device before upload and is unreadable at the storage layer.
When you sign in, logins appear in your Telegram account's own device list (named "Zedfinity Cloud" or "Zedfinity Cloud Windows") and can be revoked by you from the official Telegram apps at any time.
5. Permissions the app requests
- Photos and videos (Android) — requested only when you enable auto-backup, so the scanner can find media that is not backed up yet. Nothing is read before you enable the feature.
- Biometrics — used only if you enable the biometric app lock, and only to verify your fingerprint on this device.
- Internet — to communicate with your own Telegram cloud storage.
6. This website
Analytics
This website uses Vercel Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless measurement tool. It records anonymous page-view counts (pages visited, referrers, approximate region) and does not use cookies or identify individual visitors. No cross-site tracking and no advertising profiles are created by us.
Advertising
This website may display advertising served by Google (AdSense). When ads are served, Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, and learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
7. Donations
Donations are accepted in TON (Gram) and USDT on the TON blockchain. Blockchain transactions are public by nature: a donation address receives transactions that are visible on the public ledger. ZEDFINITY does not link donations to identities and offers nothing in exchange that would require it.
8. Children
ZEDFINITY is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone — child or adult — because there is nothing to collect.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be announced on the project's Telegram community.
