Version 2.0.14
Auto-backup, rebuilt
- Auto-backup now performs a full device scan on every pass: every folder on internal storage and every volume, including removable SD cards (per-volume scanning on Android 10+).
- Real photo/video formats are detected by extension — JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, DNG, MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, WebM and more — so nothing that should be backed up is missed, and nothing that is not media gets uploaded.
- Failed uploads now retry automatically on the next pass instead of being skipped forever — fixing the "only some of my photos get backed up" problem.
- Files that the system denies direct access to (scoped storage on Android 10+) are read through a secure content copy, so auto-backup works reliably on modern Android.
Downloads, without limits
- New select-all actions: one tap in Files selects every file in the current list, one tap in the Gallery selects the entire gallery (or the full Photos / Videos / Favorites view), and one tap in an album selects the whole album.
- The existing Download action then saves everything through the standard download pipeline — your whole library, in one go.
- Album detail keeps its dedicated "Download all" button.
Media player upgrades
- Music now shows embedded album art with title, artist and album.
- Lyrics support, including synced lyrics that highlight the current line while the track plays.
- Audio streams directly from the cloud; videos download with a progress bar, then play with full seeking.
Reliability on older Android
- Fixed a startup failure on Android 10 and below: the media player engine now loads at first playback instead of at app startup, and a load failure shows a friendly message instead of stopping the app.
- Restored file access on Android 10 devices so uploads and auto-backup work correctly under scoped storage.
Design refinements
- The home usage ring is now a colorful per-type chart — one arc per category with a size legend, drawn against the 100 TB reference.
- Calmer, more premium interactions across navigation and settings: no tap flashes, quieter transitions.
- Settings reorganized with real status rows (Two-step verification, auto-backup state) and a reworked About & Support screen with community links and donation details.
- Custom icon set across navigation and menus, matching the approved design.
Accounts
- Sessions in Telegram's device list are now named clearly per platform — "Zedfinity Cloud Windows" — so you always know which login is which.
About versioning
ZEDFINITY releases as 2.0.x. Earlier 2.0 builds were internal releases that shaped today's feature set; this page lists the changes that matter from the current public release forward. Updates install directly over previous versions — your library, albums, vault and settings are preserved.
Always download ZEDFINITY from this site — the current build and its SHA-256 checksum are published with every release.
