Install ZEDFINITY
on Android.

ZEDFINITY is distributed as a direct APK download rather than through an app store, so installation takes one extra permission step. It works on any modern Android phone — including Huawei devices without Google services.

1. Download the APK

Open the download section and tap Download for Android. The file is a standard Android package (APK) of about 180 MB that contains the app for arm64, 32-bit and x86_64 phones. Your browser may warn that this type of file can harm your device — this is the standard notice Android shows for every APK downloaded outside an app store, not a detection about ZEDFINITY specifically.

2. Allow the install

When you open the downloaded file, Android asks you to let your browser install apps. Tap Settings on the prompt and enable Allow from this source for your browser, then return and continue the installation. You only do this once; the permission stays for future updates.

3. Sign in with your Telegram account

ZEDFINITY uses your own Telegram account as its storage, so you sign in the same way you would link a new device:

If your account has two-step verification, enter your Telegram password when prompted. ZEDFINITY supports it and your vault key is derived from it.

4. Turn on Vault encryption

Open Settings → Vault encryption and enable the toggle. From that moment every new upload is encrypted on your device before it leaves. The padlock turns green when Vault is active. Existing plain uploads are not converted retroactively; new ones are protected automatically.

5. Optional: enable auto-backup

Open Settings → Backup and enable auto-backup to have ZEDFINITY scan your whole device — every folder and SD card — for photos and videos that are not backed up yet. Android asks for photo permissions the first time; allow them so the scanner can see your library. Details and duplicate-avoidance tips are in the auto-backup guide.

Notes for Huawei and other devices without Google services

ZEDFINITY does not use Google Play Services for anything, so it installs and runs normally on Huawei and HarmonyOS devices. You only need the standard "allow unknown apps" permission above. The biometric lock works on devices with a fingerprint sensor.

Updating later

New versions install directly over the old one — download the latest APK from this site and open it. Your library, albums, vault and settings are preserved. The current version is always listed on the changelog.
